The SP-01 is a modern interpretation - and a homage - to the legendary studio monitors from Tannoy and Altec that were THE worldwide standard in recording and broadcasting studios in the 1960 and 70s.
While macro dynamic capabilities of these speakers are impressive it is the micro dynamic contrasts, which are so important for musical involvement, that benefit most. With these capabilities the SP-01 is the perfect speaker to match our pre- and power amps.
